KANSAS CITY, Mo. – As the Kansas City Royals close out spring training in 2021, the team’s regular season begins with a game against the Texas Rangers on April 1. This game will commence at 4:10 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium.

After an entire season without fans in 2020, fans will be welcomed back to cheer on the Royals at “The K.” Attendance will be limited to 10,000 fans at each game. The team will consider increasing attendance as the season goes on if the pandemic continues to improve.

The Royals went 14-8 during spring training with many of the team’s key players showing what they can contribute moving into the regular season. Four of the organization’s top prospects were resigned to their minor league camp including Bobby Witt Jr. who nearly made the opening day roster.
